Op-ed (in tweet form): Happy #4thOfJuly to states that practice liberty. #USA ranks 15th in freedom, and will keep falling if the fruitcakes (AL, AR, ID, KY, LA, MS, MO, ND, OK, SD, TN, TX, UT, WY) with trigger laws use tax dollars (even though they worship small government) to promote their inner Taliban.

'Estoy con ella' chorus is getting louder

I hear that a deranged representative of a major political party stated that Spanish is unAmerican - the above heading is just for you!

You know there's panic across America when three editorials from newspapers (known for their support of Republican Presidential nominees) have endorsed Hillary Clinton. First it was the Dallas Morning News, not since World War II had it backed a Democrat. Then came the Cincinnati Enquirer, last time it went against its tradition was for Woodrow Wilson in 1916. To top it off, the Arizona Republic broke a tradition dating back to 1890. Reminder, these same publications supported an actor (No. 40 for those playing trivia at home) known for ruining the nation with trickle down economics and a hillbilly (No. 43) who achieved the notorious feat of bringing 4000 soldiers back in body bags (not to mention countless loss of innocent lives in nations Americans couldn't find on a map without google).

I am glad that these publications have finally ended their support for Republicans, they understand Lincoln would be ashamed to associate with today's GOP. It's been an open secret that Republicans covertly implemented a mantra of prejudice since Nixon. Now that their chosen prophet is an out-and-out racist, misogynist and sociopath these long-time backers have finally made the divorce official. Even the USA Today (known for its sensationalist right leaning viewpoints) is calling the narcissistic demagogue from 5th Ave Unfit for the Presidency. All that's left now is for his deplorable (too nice a word) supporters is to go back into captivity - don't forget to take the white sheets with you!

Clinton has her flaws, support of the death penalty being a major one (as repeatedly said on this site). Her hawkish views on foreign policy (one look at her infatuation with Israel, even when they yawn over innocent Arab slaughter - refer to the Qana massacre in 1996) and not publicly pushing for things she clearly wants to enact, like universal healthcare. It's a given that all progressive American Presidential nominees will always pass as a conservative in other advanced nations, but its high time we have leadership that puts human lives ahead of the military and gun lobbyists. Clinton, at least understands that America is a melting pot and is an advocate for the underprivileged, including the disabled - something lost on that bigoted scholar from 5th Avenue. (I am not about to go down the road of mainstream media and glorify this hideous creatures name).

The Global Editorial will only endorse a candidate that is a true worldly humanitarian. Seeing as there is not one viable option on November 8, we can only advise U.S. citizens to cast a vote for the candidate that has demonstrated empathy for those less fortunate. Clue: one individual has a long history fighting for children's health, the other has one for abusing woman, body-shaming, compulsive lying (every 195 seconds to be exact), race baiting, tax evasion and so on...Reminder to the American voter: if you support a xenophobic demagogue, you are automatically an accomplice in the first degree murder of Lady Liberty.
